To start light Harted, pun intended of course, if you've had the pleasure of taking a road trip with me, the rhythm of the day to day workings as a Financial Planner is about as steady as my vocals, not so steady. That is what keeps things exciting, you just never know what the next story will be that walks through the door presenting unique challenges. I'd bet the kitchen sink, mainly cause it is full of dishes, that you all have seen monotony in your fields at one point or another, I know I have but as a Financial Planner I get to work with clients who work for private sector employers, run successful small and large scale business, work for the government and some even maybe combine roles into all or some (in a matter of speaking.)
I'm driven by curiosity, "where there's a Wi-Fi, there's a way" so to be able to dig in and research different solutions for clients and present them to uniquely to them gives me a reason to look forward to new challenge. When your able to see the "ah ha" moments from your clients, sometimes relief, joy, excitement and engagement to our solutions for the goal, it just makes the salt and pepper hair worth the while I will tell you!
As I have worked with clients over the years and hear their pleasure with outcomes of what was achieved and my particular favorite what they actually learned and shared with others that they felt important enough to take away from our conversations, I then feel I have succeeded with the results necessary.
